![]() There is only room to enter ONE (receive only) frequency & PL on this screen, but that's okay. Set the repeater type to Generic and enter your receive frequency and PL. You will now be back at the CHANGE/VIEW menu, in Repeater Mode. Keep pressing F2 until you reach the GET/SAVE menu. Connect the programming cable to the receive radio and press F2 to read it. ![]() Press F10 again to skip the transmit radio. Press F2 (Read Repeater), and then press F10 for a Generic Repeater. If so, try the following steps: Press F6 (Change to Repeater Mode). Do you see an option of F6 (Change to Repeater Mode)? On some radios, even though the accessory connector is not fully programmable, Pin 8 can be made to provide an active-low COS output, by programming the radio in Repeater Mode.įrom the Main Menu, select F3 (GET/SAVE). It's been too long since I've messed with one to recall for sure, but this may work. If its 5-pin, you'll have to do some hardware hacking to get COS. ![]() First of all, does your radio have a 5-pin accessory connector or 16-pin? If its 16-pin, you should be able to use RSS to enable COS output.
